Through funding awarded from the Prosper Portland Reimagine Oregon Economic Opportunity Investment Fund, The Black Business Association of Oregon is offering $5,000 inventory grants for businesses to replenish or purchase new inventory for their operations. Businesses eligible to appy for inventory grants include:
- Retailers with a brick and mortar location, e-commerce website, or uses a third-party e-commerce website service (Amazon, Shopify…).
- Restaurants with a brick and mortar location or an operating food truck.
- Caterers with a brick and mortar location or has access to a commercial kitchen cooperative.
- Confectionists (bakery goods, candy, ice cream) with a brick and mortar location, an operating food truck, or has access to a commercial kitchen cooperative.
- Home businesses with a designated area on site for storage or a rented storage unit.
To be eligible to apply for an inventory grant, businesses must be located and operating in Portland, Oregon.
